the borla's sound cool, and muffle ok, but are still loud, you cant just run the borla

the quietest muffler is the RB turbo back presilencer. its $$$$ though

See, I guess it all depends on what you consider "loud". Open manifold = loud. Getting a ticket every time you go for a drive = loud. But I can deal with noise, as to me there is no better sound than an engine over a radio.

so I did some research, The hushpower is a pretty cool muffler!

[attachment=44648:technology_splash.jpg]

Hot exhaust gases entering the tapered inlet section are actually accelerated as they pass through the perforated cone into the outer core area. The perforation pattern and entry angle are specifically engineered into each product to provide optimum airflow characteristics.

The sound energy is reflected and redirected back into itself as well as into the outer thermal core by the carefully selected taper angle of the entry cone.

The increased surface area and angle of the tapered exit cone provides an "easy exit" for the hot exhaust gases that encourages the flow out of the muffler. The carefully selected taper angle of the exit cone directs and focuses the sound energy back into itself. This convergence of sound waves reduces the sound level as it passes out of the muffler.

The muffler still has fiberglass packing, Oh well even if the packing does burn out, I bet that thing will still muffle pretty good without it.

Man I feel that 100%... in the past 2 months I've spent over a grand on my car, not including buying the car. So I've spent roughly 2 grand in the past 2 months on my car lol...

Too rich for my blood... Having a kid has slowed thing down a bit.... But I can't give up my FB. I've had it for like 7 years, And I dont have much to show for it yet. Slowly but surly its (Ghetto rich) coming along....

I am almost done with my 13BT build so I'm checking out muffler options...

I think I'm going to go with a RacingBeat PowerPulse turbo muffler. I think it has ceramic wool packing.. and its half the price. But I still think that the flowmaster hush power muffler would out silence it any day!!!

oh if you're turbo, run the RB turbo back presilencer http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....tNumber=16425P. turbo + that makes it quiet enough to drive on the street, the rear muffler, changes the tone. borla sounds race car, hks sounds droney, but quieter. etc

Found that same presilencer by it's self on the RacingBeats website without the pipes and flanges for $88... So I'm going to run one of those in the midsection, And keep my supertrapp on the back with 22-24 diffuser discs or none....
