I have wanted to put a 302 efi engine in my 7 but I have a few questions?

Would this engine bolt up to the exsisting trans? and would the rearend need to be changed? Along with the breaks and the front springs?

what other options do I have, for around $1500?

you could get a rebuilt 12a for 1500. to put the v8 in there you need the v8 trans, a custom driveshaft, etc etc

goto granny's speed shops website. They'll have what you want there. Why V8?The reason most people buy a RX is for the wankel engine. You want a lightwieght to dump a V8 into buy a chevette.

I agree.. The rotary engine is what sets it apart from everything else.

No, silly.

5 . slows are for horses and transvestites .

if you want a V8, keep it in a Mustang or Camaro/Trans-am/firebird/Z-28 pony car.

play it right and you can pull 11.50's all day. push them hard and a 'stang can see

9's and 8's (Check local listings and weather conditions at your favorite drag strip.

Your times may vary)

My 7 is a blast to drive. not as powerful as a V8 (yet ), but I still get sideways

around corners doing 20-30mph

just a thought....
