how hard is it for people in ohio (if any) to pass e-check, in other states, if you have an emissions check how hard is it to get the 7 to pass? in ohio i've seen the "guaruntee to pass emissions test" bottle junk but need to know if anyone has tried it....

 

its easy you only need 3 things to pass the sniffer test.

good air pump

working acv

and a decent cat

well i guess i can hook the air pump back up. as far as the car the whole exhaust has fallen off over the years before i purchased her. and whats an acv?

the acv (air control valve) is what the air pump blows into, its job is to put the airpump air into the exhaust ports, up to about 2500rpm

mine did 40ppm at idle and everything else was 0's

well... it wasn't difficult at all for mine... and sssshhhhh! don't tell anyone, but i don't have a cat on it... its straight pipes all the way back... (they bolt in where the cat used to be) the car was this way when i bought it, so it wasn't my doing.... the only thing i did was i ran a can of carb cleaner and used mid-grade gas... it passed with flying colors...



so, i doubt that you will have any problems getting yours to pass... as far as the 'guaranteed pass' in a bottle stuff... i'd be kinda wary of it... God only knows what all is in there....
