The emissions crap serves a purpose

Well I took my car through emissions, and for ***** and giggles I took it through with my racing exhaust on, and no emissions crap on my engine. I laughed my *** off when I saw the results.
HC CO CO+CO2
Limit- 220 ppm 1.2% >6.0%
@2500 rpm
My car- 607 ppm 8.07% 17.75%
Limit- 220 ppm 1.2% >6.0%
@Idle
My car- 1225 ppm 6.05% 16.07%
Then I put the stock exhaust on, and emissions crap...
HC CO CO+CO2
@2500 5 ppm .05% 12.49%
@idle 49 ppm .25% 13.2%

I think the govt. should watch the water levels around here as close as they do emissions. I read in the paper yesterday North Jersey only has enough water left for 90 days!! And I guy I know who works for the state said the armed forces are starting to sanitize the water trucks and getting them ready for use. Sounds like serious trouble to me

The SUCK thing is Large Vehicles over X weight don't have to pass these emissions.
Anyway I am very interested in your tests. What did you put back on?
I just found out OREGON (where I live) only offers 2 -21 day trip permits a year. This is a change from the old 30 day unlimited ones. I didn't plan on passing my state emission tests and was just going to buy these trip permits when I drive my car in the summer.
So my hope was I could run the HALTECH in CLOSED LOOP mode amd pass. The problem is... I have no AIR PUMP, no ACV, EGR and a HEADER.
My State uses a Chassis DYNO to test. The other SUCK thing is.... This is a engine swap. IE: 1989 Sidekick with a 1988 13B in it.
I think there are specific pollution levels for each vehicle. Anyone know what they are for the RX7 (1988 vintage). I'm going to take it in and see what it's putting out from an adjustment station before I try the test. I also need to keep them from opening the hood (Ah' it's broken).... I hope that works. Hmmm doesn't sound like a Suzuki.
