Well all igniters are shot just like I thought. So I went out and baught three GM HEI moduals I seen somwhere a site where somebody used them I just gotta find it again to see the wiring.

I found one of my problems I had the wires coming from the pickup to the igniter backwards ooops that exsplains the timing problem. It goes to show no matter how many times you check your wiring check it again.

Are the ignitors shot afterall? Or did you get the GM HEI ignitors to work? Back when I was messing with ignition stuff, I found lots of info on them. You'll probably have pretty good results with Google searches. Good luck!
