Yeah but how easy is it to find a manifold for a Cosmo?

its cooler..... it will be a little more work and a little more money, but its a lot cooler

Whatever swap I end up doing, I'm going to make a website because it seems like no one has assembled a coherent, step-by-step process for an engine swap into an FB. I could be wrong, but I haven't found one yet.

I mean it has pictures, but I don't think I could use that website as a step-by-step installation guide, you know what I mean?

I think Mike summed it up well. Anything that will fit on a T2 will fit on a cosmo, they are both 13b's. It's just cost,port shape and intake manifold that sets them apart.



Good luck putting together a step by step page together. There is endless ways to do this swap. Mounting the engine in the car is about the only thing that gets done the same.

So are you saying it's a lost cause to try and put together my own?



I wasn't aware I could use parts for the 13b-REW on the Cosmo, but that simplifies a lot of it.



So right now I'm leaning towards the Cosmo, I just hope I can solidify all of this soon. During my winter break for college I hope to have the car and engine, if possible, so I can start working on it.
