I got my driveshaft made for 100 bux at a local shop..Used a T2 shaft with SE rear yoke..And if you want to save some $$ get an aftermarket oil cooler from summit and stainless lines,works great,cheap,and a bigger cooler..

fd and cosmo exhaust parts are different, and you're putting into an fb so its gotta be custom. the easy route is to put an fc turbo onto the cosmo engine, the cosmo twins are small and they are a huge source of heat

See this is starting to seem like more trouble than it's worth.
It almost seems like I could do the T2 swap and have enough money left over to get a nice turbo setup. Am I right?

The cosmo isn't any harder than the T2, it's just the T2 makes more sence for you. Think of what you could spend the extra hundreds of dollars on. What is the going rate for a cosmo now adays? $1600-1800?? For the extra money you'd save you can get a LM-1 wide band meter, NPR I/C, and some other stuff you'll end up buying.
