Whatever swap I end up doing, I'm going to make a website because it seems like no one has assembled a coherent, step-by-step process for an engine swap into an FB. I could be wrong, but I haven't found one yet.

I think Mike summed it up well. Anything that will fit on a T2 will fit on a cosmo, they are both 13b's. It's just cost,port shape and intake manifold that sets them apart.
Good luck putting together a step by step page together. There is endless ways to do this swap. Mounting the engine in the car is about the only thing that gets done the same.

I wasn't aware I could use parts for the 13b-REW on the Cosmo, but that simplifies a lot of it.
So right now I'm leaning towards the Cosmo, I just hope I can solidify all of this soon. During my winter break for college I hope to have the car and engine, if possible, so I can start working on it.
