I have a 1978 JDM Mazda RX-7 Savanna that I am restoring and giving to my wife for our anniversary. I want to have the stock carb rebuilt prior to handing the car over. With it being JDM and for a RHD car, I was wondering what reliable companies out there could rebuild it. I called Racing Beat and they do not offer rebuilding, so any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

find a guy named "Sterling" or "Yaw" to do the rebuild. Those guys know RX-7 carbs better than anyone I can imagine.

AFAIK Paul Yaw got out of the Nikki business. Sterling and RX7Carl both do Nikki work, and they do the same mods. I have a carb that Carl rebuilt/modded and it's a nice piece of work, although I ended up replacing it with a pair of Webers.

Thank you, gentlemen. I will contact RX7Carl then.

I rebuilt mine before I decided to start converting to propane. I'm still working on machining all the parts. (damn custom fabrication).
