its an fb tranny next to an sa tranny, you an see they moved the shifter

but the thing is that it running so rich its blowing a smoke out of the exhaust like a white smoke and i have to pass smog living in cali unless somebody knows that one person who can hook it up with smog papers.

ok guys i think i fiugured it out the reason y i couldnt get past 75 was th exhaust gasket the one between the cats so i fugured that one out thanx for all ur suggestions

Chances are, if it blew out the gasket between the Cats, then it might have a plugged cat behind that

gasket. If it is still stock cats, pull the rear one out and look through it. You should see diffused daylight

through the element. If it's all blackened and you can't see through it, replace it. That would cure some

of your emissions problems.



How long have you owned it and what area do you live in?

There are assistance programs out there for people renewing their tags, but there is no cost limit

for "Change of ownership".

i thought when you renew you only get exempted for 2 years after that it has to pass, is that right?

When renewing, you need to smog it every two years (unless it's a gross polluter then it gets

tested for two consecutive years in a row). When selling, it is the sellers responsibility to

smog the car (and perform any repairs needed) for the buyer.
