I've found a few body kits out there that i've been looking at...cp racing has a wide body kit for 1000...but the front airdam looks kinda...funny...perhaps its just their picture

Also looked at the mariahmotorsports wide body kit...I like the airdam on that one a lot better...also seems to flow better in the curves...I think its around 1375

I was looking at either a "single" or "dual" alluminum spoiler from jcwhitney...they run around 120 for the single and 170 for the dual...all hardware and junk included i'm pretty sure

Also was looking at some mold in hood scoops...but I don't know if that would be a good idea or not...I dont' want water in my engine bay...and I'm not blowing money on something if I can't use it

I'd really like the body kits...but the insurance from the damage on my car is only going to be around 1200...so I don't know if I could get away with doing the body kit...and affording to get it painted

So i may just go for a new front airdam...one with light buckets...as well as a rear fin...unless someone has a recommendation that would make it look better?

oh...and are there any other body kits out there for the 1st gen?

Yea forget the scoop. The Erebuni from spoilers.com is the same as what Mazdatrix sells. Its nice. The wide bodies would need new wheels and tires as well. So for a budget car, I agree, thats the way to go.

I think i'm going to hold off on a kit for now...just repair the damage on the bumper and get a free paint job out of the deal...I'm thinking a metallic black to go with my new interior...but I've gotta swap out a hood and front fenders to get rid of hail damage...so a project for tomorrow...wooooot
