Here is a reply on 4 seperate PM's with DriftAtlanta on Aftermarket LSD and axles. Hope it helps.
I have a 85 gsl housing w/ se brakes, moser axles, 1.8l miata kaaz, (it takes the large axles). Aluminum Drive shaft w/ 800hp ujoints from drive shaft specialties in texas. Any more questions just holla

I dont know the year, but i have the manual for the kaaz in my tool box. I called newport exotic cars, just said i needed a diff for a 1.8l miata.
The moser axles are the same as gsl-se as far how the bolt in, stock bearings, bolt pattern. I had them made little longer than stock length. I had to try about 11mm of each and have 12mm between each axles when you have the diff out.
I only have 200whp at this time, hopfully i will go up another 30hp when i redo the exhaust and up the boost

Dont know the part number. I called Newport exotic cars, talked to the guy. All i knew was 1.8L miata diff fit. So i bought the 1.5. Its not torsen its clutch type. If you call the guy he set you up w/ the correct diff. If you can wait till monday . I will look in my tool box at work, and see if the part number is one the manual.
I would also suggest the moser axles, I have bent probably 4 sets of stock ones. The moser are only 350 shipped. I have a invoice number you have them copy the order. All you need to have them do is make them 12mm shorter my order. I went longer so i could custom tailer the length w/ the diff out to get as much spline in the kaaz.

Slammed very good information there...I am going to try and keep the stock rear-end while producing 400rwhp. Think I can do it?
Slip the clutch on launches and stay away from super sticky compounds and anythings possible.
