Auxiliary Ports

it does destroy your low end but makes for a little more high end if you take the sleeves out. the air is always flowing through the 5th and 6th ports and it allows more air flow through them...without the sleeves. if the "pinapple" ones can add 5 HP maybe, i bet taking the sleeves out could add ten?

Well, I am not interested in destroying my low-end power.
I have heard mixed things about the pineapple sleeve fittings...mostly that there is no gain in HP and an added risk that they would become dislodged and destroy an otherwise perfectly good motor. So, I am undecided on that.
I had to get a different cat, and then found out the backpressure line had a hole in it. I had that welded up, which stopped the backfiring, but I am not building up enough pressure to cause the actuators to open the sleeves. I will investigate that maybe this weekend.
Thanks,
Brian TC
