This is the first time i have worked on a 6 port engine, and I noticed a cut line running to the intake manifold.. I'm pretty sure Its the line the actuates the auxiliary port valves...

So I look it up in a manual and it says that its ran off a solenoid valve and low compressed air from the air pump.. This guy no longer has the air pump installed or the rat's nest...

So... is there any other way to get the auxiliary ports to open without the air pump...???

Thanks,

- Roark

the older ones tap into the exhaust, they only need like 1-2psi to open
