High-tech zip ties, huh?

One more question about your fan, did you pull your shroud b/c it didn't fit or what? Also, does that hurt cooling any?

Once again, thank you SO much for the compliments everyone. It really means a lot to me to know that you appreciate the work Ive done as much as I have.

Racer X: Thanks for posting the link. If you click the picture in my sig it takes you there as well, and you can read abut my car "in depth", starting from the day I brought her home from the junk yard.

millstheman: In all honesty, yeah Ive though about it, but would never actually do it. To be completely honest, on really nice days after a nice wash (both exterior and under the hood), I just take the hood off. Its only 4 bolts and easy enough to get on and off. I drive aroung like that for a little while. It sure attracts the attention with the intake roar and all. Its even gotten some good coversations going with some other people who know about the cars .

virfighter: I never actually tried to put the stock shroud on. I didnt feel there was a need for it. As for hurting the cooling, I seriously dobt it seeing as my temp gauge NEVER goes over 1/4 up. Of course, I do have a new (within the last 6 months) radiator, thermostat, water pump, and fresh 50/50 water and coolant.

Hope that answers everyones questions. If you have anymore comments or questions, please feel free to post .

Ya know what, i live in the same state as this fool, and have yet to actually meet him.

*shakes head*

heheheh

BTW man, you really really need to cleun up that firewall!!! Looks like your oil system took a crap on it!!!

(Yes, only making comments about the bad, hey someone had to!!)

jk.

anyways man, you should come over and help out on my car sometime. Next step is to get a custom oil return line from the turbo to front cover, then to install the carb, then to install rising rate fpr, then lock distributor full advanced, then install FMIC< then pipe it, then install BOV, then install boost control, then install exhaust, then drive i think. then figure out why it isnt driving, then fix that. then figure out why it STILL istn driving, then fix that, etc..

o yeah, sweet car man of course you know i already think that :-)

Yeah, well I have a good reason for not meeting you. You may live in the same state, but 8 hours away from me and like 2 seconds from the Idaho border makes it a little far for a casual "hey lets hang out" trip, lol. Hell, you probably get your potatoes from your next door neighbors yard eh?

Yeah, the firewall, inner fedners, and underside of the hood **** me off like none other. The car was undercoated either by the factor or somewhere, and they didnt care for **** where it went. Its actually not oil and **** all over it, but rubber undercoating. The stuff comes off fairly easily with your finger nail, so everytime I get bored under there, I work on a small area. Maybe someday it will all be gone. I have yet to find a tool or chemical that can assist in this process. Anyone know of anything?

As far as helping, I really do want to. I just need to get a damn job (I just realised its been over a year since I had one )so I can afford the gas, then I would be over there.

On a good note for anyone who cars, I made a linkage for my OMP the other day. I just used a piece of sttel stock to make the linkage arm that hooks to the throttle shaft on the carb, and then a metal coat hanger to make the rod out of. I plan to upgrade the materials after I get all the kinks worked out so to speak, but it works good for now. For those who dont know, I previously just had the OMP wired all the way open. It worked fine, but I thought it was time to just hook it up "right".
