I can't find the specs to fill my system up. Anybody know?

 

i think its more than 1 can but less than 2?

22-25oz of R-12, for my 85, probably the same for your 83.

80% of that, 17-20oz, if using 134a.

Thanks guys. Put in 1.25 of 134 and its blowing cold.

 

you really need to get a gauge on it, the pressure is what matters, not the volume. granted the volume of refrigerant changes the pressure, but the only way to ensure it is properly charged is to hook up a set of manifold gauges.
