I am getting ready to put a disk rear in my 84 GS. I wanted to know if you can use 2nd gen hub/rotor assembly and calipers

84/85 GSLSE..has 4 wheel disc brakes 4.10 rear end..posi rear...

Also the axels are bigger on 84/85 than other first gen years

The bolt pattern is 4x4.5

Now If you want to stay with the 12a LUG patter..4x110.. then you need to get a rear end off of any GSL..which came with rear disc..BUT 3.90 gears limited slip..theres your choice..I dunno about using any supsenions off of a 2nd gen..

ive seen or heard this 2 times. theres a pic of a first gen with 5 lug pattern and 3rd gen wheels.

and on thepartstrader.com, a guy was selling 3rd gen suspension, and mention that included was everything needed needed for a 1st gen conversion.
