Once upon a time, I heard that there was a company offering a ragtop conversion that involved installing a Mercedes 450 SEL decklid and top. Is anyone familiar with this?



Second question, are there any good widebody kits still available for the 1st gen RX-7 besides Mariah?

i thought cp racing had a wide body kit but dont see it on their site.

as far as the ragtop vesrion. pacific avatar made a conversion. there was also a place in orlando FL i believe who made one also.

They didn't make very many of them, and they are notorious for poor top fitment/leak problems. They do look sweet, though. I've never seen a convertible SA or FB in person, just in pictures.

www.rotorhead.ca has an ok one, they aren't taking any more orders right now tho...when they do, i think i will get one???

I'm pretty sure that website's selling the CP Racing kit-try ordering it from them.
