ive never seen my friend run trailing on his rx7, but his were '86, '87, & '89. But once it started ******* up i checked the timing, and it was firing then, i used the trailing and leading wires to adjust the timing, even though it was still fucked up afterwards....so am i running in circles here because im getting conflicting answers from people.....

i really do appreciate it, im trying my hardest to fix the baby, but you guys are helping a lot, when i fix it, ill send you guys a fruit basket LoL JK but thanks guys you are really helping, just keep the ideas rolling for now. :bigthumg:

No prob.Me and mike love first gens anyways.They are fun cars too own.I should have bought one sooner then I did.Oh well I own one now and thats all that matters

Thats the way I was looking at it too at first.Once you understand the cars systems they aren't so bad to understand tho.I suggest a haynes manual.Mine is my best friend other than the nopiston guys here. :bigok:
