No benefit. It's just that the '85 shell was already gutted for IT. CSP requires the car to be street legal. I'm not about to put the interior back together.

oh yeah. a friend of mine runs CSP and he had to go FIND some good a pillar plastic trims to race the car. it just seems odd that to go racing you need to shampoo the carpet first

Yeah, hill climbs are different from other forms of racing. If it meets the GCR, you can pretty much race what ya brung. We have everything from historics to home-built entries to a Rahal Lola Indy car. Your not trading paint but your not knocking over cones either. It definitely gets the adrenalin flowing.

that is cool. we've gotten to the point where we wanna build a NICE car, and you cant wheel to wheel. auto-x is out, the entire season is the same length as ONE session road racing.
