I got my car off a friend for 500. The car needs some tlc. His dad gutted all the wires because he thought there was a short. The guy I bought it from doesnt know how to drive stick. After the motor warms up and he stalled it The car wouldnt start untill it cooled off. I believe its suffering from vapor lock. If so let me know how to fix. The set up on my car is a 13b with a Holley carb, regulator, and fuel pump. All parts are hollies. The car doesnt run right now due to some eletrical difficulties. How ever I cant wait to drive it.

 

my freinds pickup used to vaper lock after it got warm when he shut it off we thought becouse the gas line was so closs to the engine it just got realy hot but that is my only suggestion, try rebuilding carb might help to.

 

Also, 41xx series Holley carbs have a tendency for valves [into the fuel bowls] to stick...
