Does anyone know what HAS to stay when gutting the stock Nikki carb?

well i did some tinkering about a week ago and stripped all the **** off the carb well it ran fine but it didn't open secondaries or start all that great, reasembled and kept it that way works best for me? worked like new after rebuild.

...the vacuum secondary assembly [with baffle] has to stay as well as the associated vacuum lines and metering pump linkage.



The feed down to the triple valve can be sealed/removed w/o affecting drive-ability - just try not to introduce any vacuum leak..
