I'm not aware of Pineapple's pan. I can't remember the shape of the aluminum pan, or if it would fit in a '78 or older engine bay.

Is that a real REPU front cover mount? They typically get ground down for easier access to the front oil line. Yours likes kinda like the REPU style, but it's been a while since I've seen one out of an engine bay. That could be from a Cosmo or RX-4.

I have a rusty pan. All I did was clean it really good and used it. The rust won't get any worse.

You're not going to give up on your current REPU project, are you? Do you just want somethng to drive? I have two REPUs. One runs and drives, the other needs a port job and a set of tires.

Here are two pictures that you might like. Both are R5 13B pans. The S5 engine is going into a '77 REPU.

I think if you can get that other truck, you'll have it to use as an example of how your project truck needs to proceed.

the biggest problem i have right now is money. once i send off money to mazdaspeed7 im going to have about 800 or so left to get this REPU running. (its the only car i have at the moment) also unemployed, and since i cant drive its hard to get a job.
