Hi All....Newbie here...



I bought a '79 RX2 today, when I got there to see the car it started up without any problems. It's a 12A streetported motor...it sounded greaat!! Settled on a price and went to the bank and came back to buy it. The owner said that while I was gone another potential buyer came by to see the car and while he was revving the motor the car shut off and now it won't start??? Any thoughts on what could have possible gone wrong?

Does it sound "even" when turning over??

It could just be flooded
