Has anyone done this swap cosmo 13bre into rx2? I want to swap over my externals have 13bna now with supercharger and 79 5spd xsmn. I have already bought the turbo xsmn,starter,shifter,slave cylinder and a tail yoke. Should be pretty straight forward like the 13b when I installed that but wanted to take advantage of experience. I have to buy a 9.5 flywheel and larger cultch( have 95 motor). I think I've read that he turbo xsmn is the same length as a 79-85 or within a 1/2 inch. Well enough about what I think I know put it to me.

if you have a 13b in there all you have to do is put the old oil pan and front cover on the re and throw it in

Thanks Mike but where from my measurements I'll have a problem is going to be the turbo tranny in that I think the shifter is approx 4 1/2 inches back from my 79 tranny and the size of the bell housing in my tunnel. Looks like after I throw some more money at it she just keeps getting stronger.

 

ah, yeah thats true. you can cut the t2 shift rod and move the whole shifter box foreward a set of bolt holes
