i put some insulation (its this 2" thick cotton stuff from an mpv) in my fc and it made a world of difference.
you need something on the floor, behind the rear seat....

Dynamat is good, but its uber-expensive.
There are some alternatives on EBAY and places like that.
Another source is Peel-n-Seal at lowes or Home Depot, lots cheaper tham Dynamatt, but not quite the sound deadening qualities, but you arent building a competition stereo vehicle (I HOPE!!!)

and the only sort of stereo setup i plan on running are the speakers in my seats.
