If you searched the title here, at least on rx7club.com, I'm sure my situation would sound pretty typical. But I'll keep it short, as not to bore anyone:

I order some immaculate s5 tails in late January (paid the extra $$ for a perfect 3 piece set).

A week after the money is deposited by PayPal they are shipped.

Another week later they arrive broken, in due part to rough transit and (no lie) shitty packaging.

Two weeks later he looks at the pics I sent him the day I received the lights; he says he'll look for replacement lights while filing an insurance claim....

A month and ten days later, after not being able to get ahold of him via email or PM's, he let's me know that he's not sending anything, and he's just getting paperwork for the insurance claim.

Another week later, today, April--I call USPS and no claim has been filed either under the mailer's last name (Farkas) and/or by the issued insurance number...I NEED the reciept torn at the sticker for insurance on the box to validate and finalize the claim. No reply, however, and I'm past the due date for a damage claim. PSF-1000 forms are a bitch, if you have ever had to do one, especially without the information provided on the receipt portion of the insurance sticker.

If you're bored enough, yet, just read: http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/showt...25&pagenumber=1 after April Fool's Day (it's all backwards).

Why is this so difficult? I'm not even asking for anything more than for the insurance money back, so I can buy more taillights. I've been super patient up until now, so, I guess I'm just venting. I'll keep you all posted on what happens.

I am so f*cking tired of shitty traps and negligent customer service from what claim to be online merchants that I'm offering a very VERY valuable resource for those of you that are pissed off, ripped off like me:

http://www.ifccfbi.gov/cf1.asp

Call it an instant audit via the Internal Revenue Service, and immediate followup by the NW3C on your claim. Most disputes, I've heard from my friends at PayPal, are resolved in days. There is a lot of money that is not accounted for.

No one should have to lose out on hard-earned money or any satisfaction towards the things they invest in online. Ever.

you will probably never get anything out of the usps for insurance. LET THIS BE A LESSON TO EVERYONE TO NOT USE THE USPS!

i know its not all their fault but they have the worst customer service of pretty much any company ive ever seen. i dont know why more people dont use UPS. i used to work for them and the shipping is much more reliable than usps and the insurance claims, while rare, get handled in about a week.

I just ask that you all support this (not so much my case) so that even if the vendor or merchant might have something that's rare or sought after, he doesn't dismiss it alongside with customer service. Fraud is fraud.

it was a paypal trans right? go complain to paypal and the seller has 10 days to sort it out or paypal refunds your money and they go after the seller
