Shawn (kevin) Landers Has been taken to court several times, banned from the rx7club for stealing and scamming members repeatedly through his shop.








He runs several groups on facebook where some of the most notorious scammers are constantly caught stealing and lying through his platform. He often hides or profits off their scams.



Shawn, chad, Ian and Rich Farrell are all rotary business owners, they single handedly control the entire rx7 world. Shawn runs the main rx7 for sale page, chad runs the main rx7 group, ian runs the biggest mazda rx7 group and rich farrell is "goodfellasfd3s" and OWNS the rx7club website.

Chad runs the rx7 page which sawn uses to belittle and run down shops having chad remove all his competitors.


Ian runs the main rx7 group with rich farrell. They control which shops are allowed to be a part of the community. If you do not provide them profit you are not allowed. If you call out their scams and monopolies you are banned.



This is how shawn landers gets away with scamming people from 2008 until now. He has scammed dozens of members, over years and years time but no one is allowed to say anything because they control the platforms. When people do finally speak up it is always the scammer apologists and scammers themselves that come to shawns defense. Here is an example of the most notorious scammer on Facebook, Matt Montgomery trying to defend and promote his friend the scammer Shawn Landers.

This is them secretly working together to try to remove the other shops as competition. Matt has never had a motor built by shawn and has never sold it to any one on facebook. He has never even posted pictures of an assembled rebuild, let alone one for sale.

This practice has the rotary community so divided that when they attack this known scammer they involuntarily attack other scammers.

First off he is defending him. And he does know who he is. Kyle has been around for almost twenty years and knows everybody in the game. This is him denying shawn's character and what he has done and is capable of doing to customers.


I have run reclaimer auto for almost 20 years now. And I have never been taken to court and sued for lying about parts, motor builds or car builds. Good shops and credible shops have the ability to save. Those who are proven scamverse have to hide behind their closed groups.

The only experience I have had was Shawn Landers and rotary resurrection has been through the facebook groups. Our first interaction was me confronting him and one of his customers on him overcharging for an engine rebuild. Sean Landers ended up convincing his friend who worked at a local dealership to send people needing rebuilds to him instead of buying a new engine through Mazda for $5500. He had the dealertell them. It was better to go through Sean than Mazda because mazda engines were not as good. Then Shawn charged the guy twice as much for a used motor then he could have bought a new motor direct from Mazda.

His response to me publicly calling out his scam was to claim i sold him.a s4 rotor that was supposed to be an s5 rotor on ebay for 25$ like ten years prior to me calling him out. I asked for proof of the transaction but he had none. These are his tactics, diversion without proof and silencing people he intends to slander.

He has an absolutely terrible attitude towards everyone in the community and is always attacking and be little in anybody who seems to have an issue with him, his service and the scammers he promotes. Buyers beware.

Shawn Landers and Matt Montgomery are by far the two worst and most notorious scammers on Facebook and in the RX7 community. All of their ads are constantly promoting overpriced used trash parts that normally are not as they described. They are known for attacking and belittling anybody who comments on the prices or the parts conditions.

When someone gets scammed on his Facebook group this is often how they are treated.

Shawn will immediately come on and attack them as if they are the ones who made the mistake.

He makes memes specifically to attack them for their mistakes.


In the same breath that he will be little someone for being scammed and make fun of them, he will promote proven scammers like Matt Montgomery. They even go as far as to make up things that aren't not true to distract from their guilt in scamming. Matt Montgomery has never taken me or my family to court and he is the one with an active police investigation against him for the sexual harassment of a minor. But the only person who likes his games and his lies is Shawn.



He does all of this to pray on those who are new to the community and are unaware of his tactics. This is a very simple conspiracy run by a few people who are in charge of the entire rotary community. They will do anything it takes to assure that they remain in the position and power they have created and control.

Having been in the rotary community for almost 25 years now I can say that I have personally witnessed almost every single shop acting in the same light and manner as he has. In my personal experience there are far and few shops worth actually contacting and going through. I personally do not vouch for any of them any more because every single one that I have has done terrible things to people in the community.

When I saw this conversation only one thing cross my mind, this man has no business claiming he is a professional business.

Over the past twenty five years I have had dozens of engines built and hundreds of cars worked on at professional businesses. Not a single one of these professional shops ever required the money be put up front or stated that they were uneasy as to do the work because they didn't trust my ability to pay or their ability to build it without paid.

Clearly he is not a professional shop. Clearly he cannot be trusted to do the work. Clearly he does not trust his customers. It seems obvious that it's time for him to move to a new occupation because he is jaded and corrupted, or just a terribly unprofessional business.

In the year 2024 it's almost impossible not to find someone who can help you build a rotary engine. None of these people are trustworthy or possess a skill that you yourself cannot obtain. They are not about the cars or the customers clearly.
