Shawn Landers Of Rotary Ressurection Scams And Scammers
Shawn Landers Has been caught scamming and promoting scammers like matt montgomery to profit off of the community.
Shawn Landers runs a couple of very popular RX7 Facebook groups. Through these groups he promotes his garage shop business and his friends endeavors in the rotary community. There are no actual public pictures of the man's existence. These people do everything to keep their face out of the community they know they are destroying. All of the main rotary groups are run by the same half dozen people. These people all run rotary businesses and have serious interest financially in controlling the community.
My first real interaction with him was confronting him when he was trying to sell used motors through a dealership that was local to him. By convincing them that using old parts in motors built by him for their customer's cars was better than ordering new engines from mazda. And this was several years ago when the engines were available and only $5500.
When I confronted him about trying to sell motors to customers for twice as much as Mazda wanted new. He blamed the customer for not knowing. They could get new motors and told me it was just good business... So it wasn't terribly shocking to find out he promoted the scammer and profiteer Matt Montgomery.
This is when Shawn started publicly bashing me.
I have never personally had an interaction with him or his business. He believes that he bought a rotor off of ebay from me and that it was the wrong one. I asked him to provide proof of our transaction because I do not recall it but he cannot. I supposedly sold him a series 4 rotor and it was supposed to be a series 5 rotor back in 2010. He says this was a twenty five dollar transaction.
Once I had confronted one of his friends about the multiple lies about parts conditions and applications. That is when he started personally singling me out. He will even go as far as to explain what a scam is and then say that a person who has been caught doing that is not a scammer.
However, it is a proven fact that matt montgomery by shawn's own standards is a scammer.
There are a half dozen threads showing that matt has lied about his parts and the condition of them over and over again.
There are even more links with him scamming and harassing. He uses multiple profiles to scam. Buyers beware.

Over and over I've shown this. But your responses are to say this is not a scam? But then define a scam as it, like Shawn did. You have all seen the links with the pictures. You can share them and prove he has lied. But you choose to uphold the myth that it's about profiteering and his prices.
This is why he is allowed to continue lying about parts conditions and application.
I hold all of you accountable for the scammers in the community. Because when it is bladent and apparent you still do nothing. So start holding him accountable. Stop blaming me for calling out what you guys define as a scam.
So when I see Shawn promoting scammers like Matt, but at the same time I also see him attacking all of the other competitive businesses it makes me wonder what his actual intent is.
So while shawn promotes people like Matt Montgomery, who have been proven scamming from door panels to dashes, tail lights to carpet, he will deny all of those scams while attacking his competitors.
I am not saying that he has not helped people in the past. But I am clearly pointing out what his intentions for being there are. Just as I am sure Matt has sold parts that people were happy with it does not change the fact that he is constantly being caught lying about other parts he is selling. 🤥
Just an observation I have made... I understand that the rotary community rips to pieces the people who call out scammers and profiteers and bad business in the rotary community groups.
