Um, I'm pretty sure that there is indeed an Officer in Charge of a company-sized element in the Air Force.

The CO and 1SG doctrinally work hand in hand, so you can't go wrong either way.

I'm an Officer and deal with soldiers issues on a daily basis.

How long ago were you in the military? Just curious
8 years and change. In the AF they don't call that position CC, the terms Flight, Squadron, and Group Commander (and so forth) are used. I was trying to help him get familiar with the proper channels so he could rectify the matter at hand as opposed to dealing with semantics.

Anyway, thanks for serving, stay safe, and don't get your *** shot by some dumb Iraqi militiamen.

Keep us posted on your progress Dave.

Well, Things were looking like I might actually get somewhere. Then Sean just disappeared again.

I'm cashin in my chips.

The verdict is that Sean Murphy is a thief and should never be allowed back into the forum again.

Would someone in Japan please give Sean a knuckle sandwich for me.

Thanks for nothing Sean.

I hope you enjoyed my $200

Hold On a minute...

For the record folks a lot of this transpired over AIM so I have no written record of this. On top of that my net has been down due to either the internet company or my Hardrive. There was communication back and forth about this whole issue once before.

Last thread about this

BEFORE I ordered these items for Dave I specifically told him that the packages may be too large to ship through the local postal system and that I would make sure he got the items.

Now I have the items, and BOTH items Dave ordered had pictures sent, I even weblinked them for him so that he could view the original large pictures.

I took the items to BlackCat shipping (Japanese version and partner of UPS) Due to the oversize of the items not including packaging the quote was $600 for a 96 wing, rear storage bins and the matching side panels and rear cover panel. I have attempted on many occasions to sell the parts locally, and have had no success. I specifically told dave I would get the parts and if need be I would bring them myself to his door once I returned to the US in Sept. because I did not feel it would be right to send them postage due @ $600. Now Dave owes me more money than the original $200 he sent me for the wing and fees of the auctions. As far as the deal not being complete, sorry keep my side of the bargain. Dave, you were warned that shipping might be delayed because of the size of the items. You agreed to let me bring them with my household goods shipment. So please before you go bad mouthing somebody on here, please tell all of the story. I continue to hold your items, if they are not sold locally soon they will be on their way to the US in less than 2 weeks, I return to the US on 27 Sept. My shipment should be in Delaware mid October. If you need verification that I have the items I will take them to "Beruit" and have Igy, Dragon, and the other guys see that I have the items.

This is the first time I have had tme to come on the forums in almost a month...

Sean, Im not trying to bad mouth you at all. I felt like IO was getting taken to the cleaners and all I said was that you were a thief. I didn't even throw in any curse words

I was only informing others of my progress with the transaction

. I want the parts more than the bad blood. I do not have an axe to grind with you personally. I just wanted the parts

I am still good for the cash that I said I was. All I know is that I sent you cash and you dissappeared form the board. That was discouraging. Now if you say that you can still get the parts to me that is great. But due to my lack of trust un-deserved or not I will not pay any more cash until I recive some of the parts. Momma didnt raise a total dumbass.

I know that you said that it may be until September till I got anything but i didnt expect you to completely disappear from the forum/IM until now. An email every once in a while would have prevented all this confusion you know.

Think about it, what would you have assume?

I don't belive that I reacted any differently than anyone would that thought someone conned them out of $200

If your shooting straight then i completley apologize for mistaking you.

I'll sit back and see if i get the parts now before I pass any more judgements.

So is it safe to say that if I don't see some parts before Halloween that there is a problem?

Just for some added info. The new Kadena Air base commander has the entire A/F on an Exercise now and every one is working 12hr 7day a week shifts for a while. It's pretty fucked up the way he's doing it and I doubt if Sean has got much time to do anything right now. This exercise has been going on for a while and it keeps getting extended. I've personally been waiting on an order from summit racing that I need to do my 20B now for about 2 months so I know what it's like to be waiting on parts but sometimes **** happens. I've known Sean now for a while and he's not going to **** you over and he's trying to get you your stuff shipped to you the cheapest way possible, but we can't ship big stuff threw the USPS here on base and I don't think you want to pay the price it will cost to go threw a Japanese carrier. If you'd like I will try to find somebody over here to buy those parts and then he can refund your $ and you can find a set in the USA.
