They got the marine products going for them. Sad but they will go under soon and as I am not a fan of there seals I will continue to stay away from them.

I would like to re-iterate that I was not a part of AA (Anti-Atkins) until this morning. In fact, I did not even know that such a thing existed (please refer to the PM above). So why ban me as a customer? Yes I know you emphasized that there was another "source" that told you, but I can assure you that I never badmouthed your business. As mentioned over at RX7 club I just said that IF possible I would try and stay away. This is called PREFERENCE. In other words you were not at the top of my list!



For those that are interested here is the AA thread that was started in the NW section. Please note that I did not comment until today. Actually I was quite shocked to see it. I thought that Atkins was blowing smoke.

I am fully aware that you have the "freedom" to choose business. That is not why I am upset. I am mainly concerned with the way that the situation was approached. In the first PM Dan responded to my message with this comment:



"Why should I sell it to you?when your on AA [AKA Anti Atkins]........."



Professional? I think NOT. NO, and I repeat NO research was conducted before this claim was made. I thought that I was VERY understanding. I asked him to explain what Anti Atkins was. I received no response. And as can be seen above I was not part of AA.



There are still MANY questions that you have left unanswered. I am interested in hearing your response.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with the 7club comment. This is why I really prefer this site. Infact, while this site was down for a few days it was funny to see some of the NW members. They were commenting that they wished the Nopistons site was up on Rx7club



I really hope that people see where I am coming from. It is hard for me to see a company such as this one exist in the NW. It really gives us local rotorheads a bad name. They have lost my business FOREVER!

There are places to buy parts a dime a dozen for our cars Z-beater. Its apparent that the response from said company is still holding ill feelings, and still being childish and not very professional. This is one reason the supercharger came off my car. So not to promote that product. Fact is theres not much hp for the price you pay. No matter what you do to the supercharger it gains very little hp between most mods. **** the turbo was put on blue and need I say anymore.



Camden superchargers suck. The only good thing about that supercharger is no turbo lag, a small amount of low end tourqe, and the sound of the blower. Other than that, shitty hp numbers, heat problems, and tuning is a nightmare.



I got over the ill feelings long ago, figuring things would calm down. I still like Dan, and don't even hate the Atkins family. The only thing that bothers me the most about the whole situation is that posts get deleted, or closed because Atkins can't handle a little criticism said about them from an unhappy customer, or wanna be customer such as yourself.



Why be so vindictive? Why not try to repair what went wrong with the NW members? I blame both sides for all that went wrong, but do side more with the members only for personal reasons.



Z-beater I don't blame you for being upset on this one. You did nothing wrong, yet to be treated as a guilty party for something you had no part in.



Kettlman did his agreement to say good things about Atkins and to try to send people to their company, yet they turn down a member that is and has been very neutral. Your like one of the nicest, and most helpful members here in the NW. Maybe they are bitter cause you are well liked, and what a better way to be so hateful. Just turn you away. Sad and very unprofessional.....SAD SAD SAD.

WOW This really supprises me! I tried to stay neutral throught everything and within the last two months despite others warnings have spent over $650 with Atkins, and actually schedued time of work tomarrow to go and get more parts from them. I don't know what to do now. I'd hate to not get paid drive hours away out of my way and get turned away at the door. That'd be badd. Oh and on an off topic I got one good and one okay housing. I hope it all works out for me!

Thanks for the reply. I agree we in the NW are very close. Take this for an example...When 89rag showed up at ABF EVERYONE was happy to see him, and he was quickly incorporated into the group. Why? Because he was a great guy. We don't care what your car looks like, how you dress, just that you have a common interest, and you are nice. For goodness sakes I have done PLENTY of stupid things around you folks. It was really hard for me to see so many of my NW members get trashed. Both sides participated including Atkins. They bashed publicly and privately. Yes Privately...



As far as the Camden supercharger I have never endorsed their product and to say the least I am glad that thing is off your car. When I was looking into forced induction I looked into the Camden unit, but after I found out the low efficiency numbers it produced I quickly steered away. Why create 200hp at 14lbs when you can create that at 10-12 on a stock T2 engine? It is pointless IMO. If I EVER put a supercharger on my car it would not be their unit. Why choose a sub par unit, when you can do a whole engine swap for cheaper?



I agree about the Atkins "family". I had no ill feelings towards them until now.



I still encourage Kathy or anyone from the Atkins Family to answer any of my questions.

I think that is primarily what it boiled down to. Atkins is just discriminatory...



Kathy, Dan, Dave or anyone else from Atkins I still encourage you to speak about the situation. I will be waiting...
