Thumbs up

It is that time again! Another Road Rally and BBQ! This time the Road Rally will start in Lakeland, FL. It will end in Winter Haven, FL. Winter Haven is where the BBQ is... at N-Tech Engineering! This is open to all clubs/models. It will be on Saturday, June 8. The Road Rally begins at 9 am sharp. The BBQ begins at noon or so. For more information (including directions) check out the MRCCFL Information Page. I hope to see lots of people there!

You don't like the way the Florida club is? Go start your own.

The Florida club only got political for a few months during the reorganization last year. The list now contains virtually no politics, and everyone gets along. If people were upset by what happened last year, that's too bad. I know some were, but it's tough to accomplish things without stepping on somebody's toes.

The club is way more active than it ever was in the past, and has also gained recognition by Mazda, and been featured in RX-7 Magazine, published in Japan.

You should really give it a second chance.

When I organized the RX-7 BBQ on the Tresure Coast the MRCCFL sent a member to it. (I am a paid charter Member BTW) I thought that was cool. When he got to the BBQ all he kept doing is telling me it would have been a better event if I had run it past the MRCCFL. Lets see we had over 30 RX-7's a IT-7 trailered in and Pettits Banzai came by for a visit. Japtrix almost came with its 10 sec FC but Roger had to go to the Jamican Nationals to tune a FD. How was this going to be better??

I posted this BBQ on the MRCCFL bulliten board. Only one member came and all he could say is we could have had a better turnout if we had the MRCCFL's blessing.

Oh, thats right your all members of the RX7Club right?? No wonder.

Try taking one of your events away from the I-4 corridor and maybe coming to South Florida for an event the members down here would really appreciate it.

There was an event down in Homestead by the water, and it turned out great. Yes, there are events that happen in South Florida. The last one was in Naples, and was successful as well. :monkydance:
