Yah, Goodyear and Michelin big money for no apparent reason.

 

The S-03 rating seem pretty unreasonable, but I'm ve5very interested in The TOYO. Anyone has some experion w/ T1-S???? Let me know. In the test, it works well in wet....not too good in dry. Is that true? I read it somewhere that it's good dry, but the person doesn't drive in wet, so he acn't comment.

 

People I know like the T-1S in the wet.



It was the spec tire for Speed Channel World Challenge Touring class up to this year, when they switched to R-compounds.

Everyone should note that mag is from germany. So some tires may not have ever been tested. I cont comment on any of that stuff i got all this info off another fourm. But put it this way those are the top 10 tires out of the 100's out there. So if you buy a tire that is on that list you have bought a really good tire period. It dopesnt matter if you buy tire number 10. It's still in the top 1% of best tires.

well i was stating more that michilin and goodyear are not as much money as so3's but are in the same league.

 

I ran S-03's they are nice. But wear far to fast. If you want the best and can afford around 200 dollars a tire go for it. But if you ask me the new 100 dollar Dunlop FM901's i just put on arnt too far behind. Inless you are a pro and a taking your car to the limits i dont think youll ever need all that the S-03 has.

 

todd.... once you get the right fuel and wider rears.... you're gunna want as much grip as possible. specially in wet weather..... since wider tires have more tendency to hydroplane
