the k2rd stuff is better than the mazda comp, the camber plates are steel, and soon the spring perches will be too. it has the same springs, and similar camber link. k2rd also has rear strut tops (noisy on the street)

i am baised, but its a good suspension :bigthumg:

Personally I think unless you plan to race the car the stock suspension more then exceeds the needs of daily driving. Upgrade the shocks,struts, and springs when the time comes due to age, some nicer tires as well, but anything more then that is overkill for a daily driver.

This what I was thinking about putting on mine. Tokico Illumina dampers $601.64 from rx7.com (package), Racing Beat Springs and Sway Bars $476.00 (package), and urethane bushings $96.00 from suspension.com (package). Total = $1134.64

the kyb agx's are really good too, they are a lot cheaper ($355)

I got the JIC FLT-A2 on my '89 T2. They're Grrrrrr-reat!!! With 7k springs in the front, 5k in the rear they are a bit harsh. But I like it that way. Candya$$es need not apply. Plus they were picked up in Japan. I was told by a JIC distributer on the "other" forum that JIC revalves softer them for the American market.



Overkill? Sure. Worth it? You bet. For everybody? Nope. I got a great deal on them that can't be touched over here in the states as far as I know so I went for it. I was leaning towards the K2RD kit before I ran across these. The K2RD setup is mighty nice. I wanted a high degree of adjustability and something that was very good for autocrossing, lapping days, and street duty. The FLT-A2's are not the best for drag racing, but they were never meant to be either. I'm not into that anyway. They do make the car stick a whole lot better than my old and worn out stock shocks/springs.
