suspension

what are you goin to be doing with the car. i use jic majic flt-a2 suspention on my turbo car and feel there great for the street to auto cross. we use dynamic tripple adjustable shocks on the race car wich are about $3000 each shock plus mounts and springs but they work flawlessly on the track but would kill your teeth and back on the street.

define decent.
on the race car we ran koni yellows with K2rd camber plates, and i think we got up to 550/350 springs. on the street we ran kyb agx's and 350/225 springs on the same camber plate/coil over setup.
the 350/225 rides better than stock, and handles really nicely too, in fact we ran that on the race car for a while.
if you want JDM stuff, tein seems to be the best, although as with all the JDM stuff WHEN you break it or it fails, you're screwed, AND the springs and shocks really arent designed to handle bumps, because they dont have them in japan, or in JIC's case, they just suck

Tokico ILLumina Suspension Kit
I second this. It seems that you're new to suspension setups in general and the characteristics of this chassis in particular. So, no sense buying coilovers if you don't know the difference between your springs being too stiff and your shocks needing a revalve. Having more clicks of options will only make you more lost until you take out a more basic system and use it to it's fullest. Then you'll learn the limitations of the chassis, the limitations of your shock/spring upgrade and soon you'll get a handle on what you need from the next suspension system you buy. Then you'll use that to it's fullest, learn more, and so on and so on.

there is also reliability to consider. the ground control/agx/koni setups are easy to repair if needed, adjustment is simple and straight forward. the jdm stuff has a tendancy to be valved weird (they have no bumps!), sprung really stiff and be unrepairable.
