Question About Rim Width

It's not worth going to 265's since they will be taller. 255's are almost the same height as 245's, which are the same diameter as the stock 225/50-16's.
275's will fit without rubbing or fender rolling and 285's will need rolling. The trick is the proper offset. I run 255's on the rear with a +35 but you don't turn the rear wheels. My fronts are 225/45's on 8" rim with +33 and needs fender rolling.
OEM offset is +50, so try to stick between +40 and +50 and stick with 255/40-17 on 17x9's. Currently you can get Pirelli P6000's for only $100ea on DiscountTireDirect. There is more info on this on the evil forum.
