They won't dent your hood (bottom adjusting) like FLA-2's will (without a spacer or washers or whatever). If you want to spend $2k then get Endless Dampers. I beleive Rishie can get those for less.

Honestly, we dropped JIC due to service issues which i'm sure many of you are aware about. We've since replaced the product with one which can truly support motorsports and daily endeavors. Endless/Zeal. Way better product, quality, and ride quality to die for.

This way I can refer you to a local dealer. These can only be purchased locally for you and require installation at the dealer to retain warranty. You might spend a couple hundred bucks, but you won't have problems if you need warranty work.
There's also Tein flex. However please indicate your uses and functions for this vehicle so we can further aid in suggesting the right coilover.
thanks, rishie

I'm not going to do much of anyhting crazy with my car. i pretty much just street race 1/4 mile. And i like to rode race, auto-X, and some times i go to the local 1/4 mile track. So i really need a overall good coilover that can do it all. So what do you recomend?

You can get the JIC FLT-A2's for $1,550 here:

I really like my FLT-A2's on my FD. It is like night and day between my JIC's and my old Koni/PFS spring setup. I have a friend with double adjustable Koni's and a Ground Control kit and he said that he is going to switch to JIC's when he can afford it if that gives you an indication. Of course any good coilover setup is going to be an improvement, but personally I really like my JIC's and wouldn't trade them for anything I've seen so far.
Here are a few reviews of the JIC's on an Eclipse. It gives you someone else's opinion of the same system on a different car:

Oh yeah. Ignore my low post count I tend to hang out on the other Forum and besides I spend more time driving my car (and doing preventative maintenance) than I do surfing the net.
