i just installed my apexi exv's and they have 12kg/cm springs (621lbs) and the ride is a lot smoother and a lot less harsh compared to my old setup of pfs springs and tokico illuminas.

yup you did tell me that the hks hyper drifts would be better on bumps than the tokicos and springs.

forgot to thank chuck from rotaryextreme for pointing that 12kg shouldnt matter much before i bought the suspension..



oh yeah, and the killer deal taht i couldnt refuse too.. hehe

i thought i told you coilovers are smoother over bumps than shocks/springs but either way! its good you like them

i think you had a harsh ride cuz your shocks were blown like you said.



i drove jio's car for a few mins, to feel his manual steering and suspension, (buddyclub with 10kg and 8kg springs). mine felt smoother over bumps than his, which gives me the conclusion that the ride quality is dependent on the strut dampenning rather than the springrate. since jio was coming from the track his dampenning was harder than what i set mine at.
