i just installed my apexi exv's and they have 12kg/cm springs (621lbs) and the ride is a lot smoother and a lot less harsh compared to my old setup of pfs springs and tokico illuminas.

i think i told you so!

heads up...
exv required shaving off the front lower strut collars to fit... |

forgot to thank chuck from rotaryextreme for pointing that 12kg shouldnt matter much before i bought the suspension..
oh yeah, and the killer deal taht i couldnt refuse too.. hehe |
i thought i told you coilovers are smoother over bumps than shocks/springs but either way! its good you like them https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
Nice. I was wanting to get those but couldn't come up with the cash.
|
i need a ride to compare to my HKS'
|
sure thing paco....
i think you had a harsh ride cuz your shocks were blown like you said. i drove jio's car for a few mins, to feel his manual steering and suspension, (buddyclub with 10kg and 8kg springs). mine felt smoother over bumps than his, which gives me the conclusion that the ride quality is dependent on the strut dampenning rather than the springrate. since jio was coming from the track his dampenning was harder than what i set mine at. |
dont forget the 18s martin...
lower profiles with stiff sidewalls... |
