Bedded in the pads and rotors... Its insane what kind of braking it has now, there is absolutely no comparison between the stock system and this kit..I think I have a bruise from my seatbelt..No matter what pad I had or fluid , the stock brakes never felt like this.. Rock hard firm and pedal effort is way down.

The next thing I am going to do is the 4 pot rear with parking brake on 13x1.25" rear. Total kit cost for the whole car will be in the 3600.00 range, but its worth every cent.

 

i would not go with the large rear brakes, with the larger fronts you have corrected the bias problem that the FC3 has. besides that i didnt hear about a master cylender upgrade or am i wrong on that. either way if you go to the large rear brakes i a fearing the bad bias will come back only with a firm pedal now.

 

It needs larger rears it to easily locks the fronts after driving it around tonight, the front is doing all the work, even though it actually has larger than stock rear brakes currently, I could dial it down a little more with the prop valve, but I may as well just take it all the way and have kick *** brakes for next year. I machined a set of 12" rotors to fit the rear last year, but they could stand to be thicker. The master cylinder so far is a pretty good match as far as pedal effort and travel is concerned.

This kit is a bargain for how well it performs...

 

very nice! when you get the new rear brakes on do you have an idea what kind of a balance you'll be running?

 

if you are locking the fronts up already... get some wider front tires and let the brakes do their job.

 

17x8's on the front and already rubbing the fenders with 245/45/17's. The car is really nose standing now, after a few hard stops, the fronts were hot, the rear had no temperature at all,

to front biased right now.
