FC3S Carbon Fiber Hoods
I posted this on the 2nd gen area, but thought I would put it here too. All the info on the group buy is on our site.

They really turned out well. The one that I have (pictured) is thicker in the fiberglass framing than we wanted, so he shaved that one down on the edges to have the correct thickness with the CF skin on top to match the stock hood. The result is mine weighs more than the others will. Mine only weighs 19lbs and it is a heavy one
The finish it very nice. If you want it to look like a mirror finish, you will need to either wetsand it with some 1200+grit paper and buff it with some rubbing compound or rough it up with some 400 grit paper and take it to an autoshop and have them clearcoat it. The clearcoating will have the best results and we got 3 different quotes from local paint shops of $35, $40 and $45.
The group buy for these will go until December the 6th to allow everyone that wants to get into it a chance to do so. On December 7th, the price goes up to the regular price. Shipping costs should be narrowed down by the end of the week, and we are still estimating it to be around $100. Info will be on our website if you have any questions or need pricing info or whatever.
Enjoy
