Default Bumpsteer kit worth it?

Im buying a bumpsteer kit for my fc today. I figured i would get them since i am installing a manual rack as well. My question is, will it be super noticable? Who here uses them? Pros, cons, opinions? Worth the money or more of a luxury? Also, i heard that they may require some modification to fit correcty. I will be mostly DD and some weekend "spirited driving". Thanks in advance

I don't think it would be super noticeable, unless all your suspension parts are upgraded/swapped as well. Which bumpsteer kit are you getting, and through whom?

I'm sure it will make a difference, but how well it does will depend on how you have worked on everywhere else on the car as well. If you have a crappy suspension setup, or something is broken not fixed, then it might not make the car respond better, instead making it worse.

Whether it's worth the money or not would really be up to you. However, I like your way of thinking, considering the parts alongside with the manual rack you are installing. But to be honest though, if you have doubts about it, research more before coming to a conclusion. Also ask the vendor you're getting the bumpsteer kit from, they should have some knowledge and experience about it... well, hopefully.

For DD most of the minor mods we do will not be very noticeable, unless you do a lot of spirited driving on the road, or go full out on the track during weekends.

Bump steer mods are usually for either lowered cars where the rack track rods are forced into a steep angle from the rack end up to the hub end. The bump steer kits straightens out the angle of the track rods to they run more parellel with the rack. They are also equally used when changing rack position.

Equally of you don't have a lowered car and you fit a bump steer rod ends you will push the track rods down below the hight of the rack causing a negitive effect.
