OMG, nice car man. got any pics from behind? did u have the fenders rolled at a shop or did u do it yourself? how much did the tir+rim+suspension run you? what suspension do u have on that car again? it has to be a 2.5 or somthing?

Thanks. A friend rolled them, but they're not too pretty right now. I thought he had the fender rolling tool, but he just used a hammer and slide hammer. I'm going to get the car re-painted soon. So I'll get the rear fenders fixed up before then. I was going to use 89-91 bumpers and mouldings, but I still need the front bumper. I'm thinking about ordering that Bomex kit, but I'm not sure yet.

The rims were $215 each+$260 for the front tires+$150 for used rears. I have the Suspension Tehcniques springs(1" drop), Tokico Illuminas, Mazdatrix sway bar endlinks, and Mazdatrix front strut brace, nothing special.

Thanks for the kind words. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif I plan on doing some stuff to the body, but I'm not sure as to what I'm going to use. I'm either going to use 89-91 bumpers and mouldings or the Bomex kit.

I bought Konig Villains from http://www.discounttiredirect.com . The price was good, and I've always liked the way they look. You could get an HRE or Fikse in the same size/offset, but they'll be about

$8-900 each. The 18" Villains aren't that heavy for such a big rim.

so how did u get the ******* offset? how much would it cost to get your fenders rolled professionally? wow those rims are expenive...

You just order the rim with that offset. It's not a special order or anything. I don't know how much it would cost to get done professionally, maybe $100-200?

A cheap and easy way to roll your fenders is to hike the car up on a jack, and put a baseball bat of appropriate width between the tire and the fender. Lower the car back down and push it forward, the bat will roll from the back to the front. Then just lift the car again, pull the bat out, voila! One rolled fender. Using a hammer and a chisel sounds messy >=P

Yeah, the hammer method is painful to watch. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Do you think that Bomex kits front bumper would look bad without the whole kit going on the car?
