NO.

You shouldn't put a 285 on a 9" rim, the tire is too wide

woops justin is right. i am wrong.... 265/35 will work on 9" oops lol

Do remember the taller the profile the thinner the wheel can be. So to simply say a 285 won't fit on a 9" wheel is not a complete statement. For all intensive purposes this is accurate for the FD unless you were running some crazy small diameter and the profile was tall.

I would suggest to keep your offsets as close to the stock wheel +50 for wheel bearing's sake. +45 seems to be one hell of a good number for the FD.

9.5's front and 10.0s rear work with this offset. Anyways, I'm here now so if you guys do have any questions I'm sure I can help walk you thru your thought processes.

Typically for a GTC fitment on the FD the most functional and popular fitment for us is one that's not in their books. Do remember that it may depend on whether or not you have a BBK. However definitely on stock brakes this is the setup as suggested above.

18,9+50 Face I - 255/35

18,10+47 or +50 depending on lip depth. Face I - 285/30

Should you want a curved spoke like Face II you will sacrifice some lip depth relatively speaking. For deeper dish go face I.

For mixed face go with:

18,10 +44 run 265/35/18 in rear. The 285 will retain closer to stock gearing while having wider contact patch as well within each related tire model.
