Do aftermerket ECU's operate the electric OMP? Which one works best? Can you make a stand alone device to work the pump? Can you back date the pump? Lots of questins but I'm looking for my best option.

Has anyone used this product? www.eomp.info

It's an electronic controller for the OMP. It looks awesome. A couple of guys from Australia designed and built it. This could put and end to pre-mixing...

the newer haltechs can run the pump. the pump is now a simple stepper motor with a position sensor so that the ecu can verify that the pump works.

the stock pump is run from RPM and load

I use the aem unit and the omp is controllable via a duty cycle map. from what i understand the pump cant pump enough when double the fuel is being added . in the end i just unpluged the omp and started premixing.

IF U NEED A STANDALONE U NEED TO PREMIX!!!!!

Premix is very easy and runs cleaner.
Add 1oz to every gallon of gas.
