Is it true that the auto FD has 5 less horsepower to the wheels compared to a manual FD?? Is there also a difference in top speed??

1. Yes, auto transmission take about 20% out of power and manual take about 15% out.

2. Yes, the auto rear end is 3.90's while the manual is a 4.10.

Ok, so is it safe to say that the auto has about 5 less hp to the wheels. What would you say the top speed would be on an auto, I know the manual's is around 160mph.

Well, final drive gears leave it so that the manual at 4.10 can top out at ~182 and that the auto at 3.90 can top out at ~191. But then there's power restrictions and such.

i had mine up to 176 with just catback and intake. It has the power to top out in stock form i think...... it just takes a while to wind 5th gear out.
