I heard some rumors,

Mazda is coming out with a turbo version, possibly a two-seater if the sales are good this year.

Anyone have any info on this?

What does everyone think of the RX-8's styling?

I personally love the car, but really would like more power (a turbo) before thinking about a purchase.

I believe there are plans for the twin turbo renesis motor, they're going to put it inside the next generation (Sunburst) RX-7 as well it will become a option for the RX-8 as well. I believe the Renesis was built to take boost so plans for a turbo should come. :yum:

I still think a New Repu would be cool..

Well Mazda seems to have worked out the kinks on the newer third gens in Japan.. Maybe they got the issues worked out better..? So I wouldn't rule out twins in the future..

In an article about the renesis motor and the rx8 i was reading the other day. They said the reason it wasnt turbo charged was because the exhaust gases werent hot enough, but rumors are around that they are trying to develope a way to do it. I know atkins is already in the process of making a supercharger for it.

well, if the rx8 is available in a turbo version, wouldnt that bring the price tag up to newar the 40Ks?? isnt that why sales of the 3rd gen sucked??
