I think they need to ditch the stupid rear doors, make it a two seater, and maybe raise the hp a little more. I think it'd be fine then with the HP it has because after those things go, it would weigh about as much as an FC, and a 250 hp fc is pretty quick.

Really I just hate the sport/sedan hybrid concept of it. It should be a devoted sports car like the rest of the series!

I do definitely like the way it looks, but the FD still looks better.

i think that you are probably overestimating how much rear seats and those door weigh. Did you know that in the previous model wrx the 2 door and 4 door had a difference in weight of like 40lbs? I haven't really seen rear seats in any car that weighed more than like 100lbs. At any rate the rx8 will start to grow on all of us I'm sure. In 5 years we'll probably all have them and be complaining about how ugly the rx9 is.

The way I see it, all you RX-8 haters are just stuck in the past. They'll figure out a way to do the job or they won't sell cars, plain and simple. Then again, I'm an NA driver, so what the hell do I know?
