Rx-8 Turbo?

im sure the amount of exhaust the rotary engine spits out for its displacement has something to do with it......... plus wont a supercharger rob some of the torque that is already lacking?
just my opinion

i read somewhere that because of the location of the exhaust ports the renisis motor could not support a turbo, where as in rx7s where they were located on the side it made it easyer for the gas's to excape. i dunno i read it somewhere. what are all your opinions?

I read in a magazine about three months ago, where they were talking about the 8. It said if it does well that they would probably come out with a newer version of the 7 that looks like the 8. Think it was Car and Driver, or Road and Track, it was an issue at the doctors office so I don't know what month. I wish I grabbed the magazine before I left.

Not going to happen the exhaust and intake ports are to close together. it you take some type of liquid nitrogen system to cool the spaces between the in take and exhast port in the STEEL HOUSING . Especially with big fat steel exhaust manifolds that come out of factory cars. Supercharging is possible but at low low boost 3-5lbs. compression is sorta high for anything else. no real heat to worry about though.
I've looks it no it taked to some engine rebuilds (who happen to laugh every time they hear stories of RX-8 turbo).... who pretty much say" how the **** are you going to cool it the intake will eventually be the same temp as the exhaust"
