My twins are going down the ******* fast, so Time to start planning mu upgrade. If I can get 400-450RWHP I'll be more than happy. Theese are the mods I have now, Intake, downpipe, midpipe, catback,FMIC,Power FC, Cosmo fuel pump, hks BOV,9.5#flywheel,ACt clutch setup.

I now that I'm going to get bigger secondaries soon, so thats out of the way. I'm not looking to upgrade ignition now, maybe alter down the line. Also, my motor is going to be rebuilt with huge streetports. SO WHAT KIT SHOULD I GET????????

Before you start toying with anything you may want to get rides from vosko and Ihor. They both have setups similar to yours. I'm guessing that you would mind considerable lag, right?

yeah I don't want lag, If I'm lucky I''ll hit the track 2x a year. If I can get 400rwhp I'll be happy, well **** as long as I can take out vettes on the parkway, I take some of them now, but not all

Oh yes, and unlike Vosko I can't play captain credit card, so Cost effectiveness is my goal!

Well, for your own kit you'd be looking at about $300-800 for a manifold, $900-1200 for a turbo for your application, $300-400 for a wastegate, and a few hundred dollars to do the oil lines and downpipe. If you want a "wet" bearing housing you'll need to make water lines. A "dry" housing will do just fine.

The cheapest ready-made manifold I know of is from http://www.turbostreetfighter.com, but that one limits you to an on-center exhaust housing. It's $300. South Florida Performance makes good manifolds for about $400. You'll probably want a divided manifold and turbine. That would help with the lag. The other manifold options are the HKS cast and SS, but they're more expensive.

As for the wastegate I would say that you should just go with an HKS standard. They're very good, and the price is reasonable.

A Turbonetics 60-1, maybe with a 1.0 divided exhaust housing may be good for you. It's not too big, but it is very capable of 400 RWHP. A big shaft P-trim 60-1 would run you a little under $1200. You can always upgrade the 60-1 later on for more power at the expense of lag. So you'd be looking at about $1900-$2000 for the main parts. You'll just need the stuff to do the downpipe and oil lines, which shouldn't cost more than $200.

you definatly should get something bigger than a t04e. a friend of mine has an fd with a ported motor, dp,mp, cat back, greddy stock mount ic, pfc, and a modded stock airbox, it puts down 387rwhp @17 psi, and 350@14psi, which is the same as the t04e guys.

Yeah, I agree. Converting to a small single is a waste of time since the stock twins can already get kind of close to 400 RWHP.
